HOW TO: Cozy Feet & Sweet Treats Classroom Christmas Sock Party Favor Wrapper

As a mom of 4, I've sent out and received my fair share of Christmas classroom party favors. While an abundance of pencils with adorable erasers are super useful.  And fun little trinkets that break the day after are exciting....my favorite favor by far has been these cozy feet & sweet treat party favors my daughter gave out to her 4th grade classroom last year!

FIRST UP, THE SOCKS:

I LOVE the set I picked with unique socks for each kid here on Amazon:
28 Pairs of Christmas Holiday Socks

You can also
go with a
pack of
one style
like these
tube socks:

Or go with
a theme
like these

So many options! Now that you've picked your socks, here's your plan...

STEP 1  → Pick Your Wrapper

We offer the editable instant download here on brieezyboutique.com or in our Etsy shop. Once ordered, you should receive an email from Corjl with your link to edit!

We also offer a free version with room for your child to write their name instead!

STEP 2  → Printing & Cutting

Once you've downloaded your printable files, it's time to print! Whether you are printing from home or your local office supply print lab (such as Office Depot, Staples, Kinkos, etc.), a variety of papers work great for this project! I would personally recommend any white or bright white paper under #80lb. You can absolutely go thicker if you would prefer, however I found it easiest to wrap around the socks with a less dense paper or cardstock. Your wrappers will print 4  2½ x 8½'' on a standard 8½ x 11'' page for you.

If you are printing from home:

Once you open up your printable wrapper, it should be ready to print! Double check your paper settings are set to a standard 8½ x 11'' size and check any other details you might want to change such as quality or paper type.

If you are printing elsewhere:

Most bigger print chains like Staples, Kinkos & Office Depot offer the ability to upload your file online, choose your paper type, place your order and then pick up in store! Many do also offer cutting for a low cost per order or free cutting tools for you to use when you pick up. If you have a straight edge or scrapbooking cutter at home, those also work great!

STEP 3 → Preparing Your Wrappers

If you will be adding a candy cane or other sweet treat to your socks, you'll want to use an Exacto knife or very sharp pocket knife to create slits in your wrappers.

Choose where you want your treat to pop through and cut! Don't forget your cutting board 😉 Wiggle your candy through your slit and you are ready for for the last step!

STEP 4  Wrapping Your Sock

Place your wrapper & candy cane over the middle of your folded sock. Turn it over, and seal it up! I just used the extra clear scotch tape and it was almost unnoticeable on the white paper. However you can also staple or hot glue (be careful!) as well. If you want the wrapper to have less chance of shifting position, slightly crease down on the sides around the sock to secure it a little bit 😊 And WALAA! Cozy feet and sweet treats for the entire classroom! Party favors that are sure to be a hit with the boys and girls while keeping their feet festive all December long 🎄💖
