HOW TO: K-Pop Demon Hunters Valentine Box Topper
Share

FIRST UP, YOUR BOX:
Before you print and assemble, you will want to pick your box and measure it. Once you know the dimensions of the top of the box, you can pick your printable! Each sport design comes with 4 size options:
- 8½x5½
- 8½x11''
- 11x14''
- 11x17''
It is fairly unlikely that your box will fit one of these sizes perfectly, so pick the one that is closest. You can pick a larger size and trim around to make it fit or pick a smaller size and have a border around (like many of the sample photos shown).
STEP 1 → Pick Your Printable
We offer the editable instant downloads here on brieezyboutique.com . Once ordered, you should receive an email from Corjl with your link to edit! Demos for each box topper are available on their listings for purchase if you'd like to give them a try first.
When editing your topper, keep in mind if you will be needing to cut a hole for Valentines to enter. Ours latched opened, so we just used that. However if you will be wanting to add a hole, you may want to plan ahead and adjust the position of your child's name before downloading and printing.
STEP 2 → Printing & Cutting
Once you've edited your box toppers and have downloaded your printable files, it's time to print. Whether you are printing from home or your local office supply print lab (such as Office Depot, Staples, Kinkos, etc.), a variety of papers work great for this project! I would personally recommend any white or bright white paper over #60. The thicker the paper, the more durable it will feel. My personal favorite to use is a glossy cover stock!

If you printed a topper that needs to be cut down to fit your box, now is the time to do that if you haven't. You can cut by hand or use most craft cutters! Some may be too small depending on your size choice.
STEP 3 → Preparing Your Box
Now that your box is ready and your printable is the right size, it's time to put it all together! I would recommend a craft glue or hot glue, as they are fast drying and most do not seep through cardstock too much. But you could absolutely use tape, glue dots or other adhesive to seal your topper to your box as well.
After sealing your box topper down to your box, now is the time to cut a hole if needed. But be careful to make sure your glue is dry so that the print does not shift while cutting. I would recommend tracing your outline in pencil first and then using a box cutter to cut. Although a very sharp knife will also work just fine.

STEP 4 → Decorating Your Box
This is a great part for your little one to help with and let their creativity shine!
I cut some cardstock hearts, crimped them, and put them all around the box to jazz it up a bit. You can also purchase a cute Valentine decoration pack on Amazon or your local convivence store in the craft isles instead. Or character sticker packs like these on Amazon and Etsy 💖
