HOW TO:
Swiftly Scored My Heart
Taylor Swift Inspired Valentines
FIRST UP, THE FAVORS:
Before you print and assemble, you will want to pick your Valentine favors. The printable can be used with almost any favor at all! Below are a few of my favorites and the ones shown in the sample photos above.
STEP 1 → Pick Your Printable
We offer the editable instant download here on brieezyboutique.com or in our Etsy shop. Once ordered, you should receive an email from Corjl with your link to edit! The editable version does also include a half size that prints 4 per page instead, The colors and fonts are adjustable as well.
We also offer a free version with room for your child to write their name instead!

STEP 2 → Printing, Cutting & Folding
Once you've downloaded your printable files, it's time to print! Whether you are printing from home or your local office supply print lab (such as Office Depot, Staples, Kinkos, etc.), a variety of papers work great for this project! I would personally recommend any white or bright white paper over #60. The thicker the paper the more durable they will feel. My personal favorite is a glossy cover stock! They will print 2 full favor tags (3x9''), or 4 standard favor tags (4x2½'') on a standard 8½ x 11'' page for you.
If you are printing from home:
Once you open up your printable favor tags, they should be ready to print! Double check your paper settings are set to a standard 8½ x 11'' size and check any other details you might want to change such as quality or paper type.
If you are printing elsewhere:
Most bigger print chains like Staples, Kinkos & Office Depot offer the ability to upload your file online, choose your paper type, place your order and then pick up in store! Many do also offer cutting for a low cost per order or free cutting tools for you to use when you pick up. If you have a straight edge or scrapbooking cutter at home, those also work great!
STEP 3 → Preparing Your Favors
Now that your favor toppers are cut & ready and you have your party favors of choice, it's time to package it all up together! Here are some items you might need to have handy, depending on which party favors you went with!
► Hole Punch
► Glue Dots
► Twist Ties (If you will be going with the pens)
How you assemble will of course also depend on which party favors you went with. I recommend taking your favors, laying them on the printable and making a plan. Below are some notes on how I did the party favors samples shown:
Heart Sunglasses: First, lay your sunglasses down and mark where you will need to put your holes for the legs of your glasses. Then punch! Put one through and test to make sure they fit okay. If so, place your template on top of the next one and use it to replicate all of the rest. If not, you may need to punch second holes to extend the size of the first ones.
Favor Pens: Place a glue dot on the end of your pen, and the bridge where you hold the pen to write. You can also do closer to the tip, but with some pens the distance between the pen tip and the paper is too great for the glue dot to stick to both at once. Mine stuck pretty well with the glue dots alone (see video tutorial for reference). However I did hole punch on each side of the pen and twist tie it on just to be sure they were not all falling apart on her way to school 😅
Friendship Bracelets: Mine fit around the card nicely so I just made a little slit with a scissors on each edge to make sure they stayed placed where I wanted them to and didn't fall off. If yours do not fit as nicely you can do deeper slits and then carefully roll the edges of the paper to fit the bracelet on, and place inside the slits. With the deep slits, this will prevent your bracelet from having to stretch the full width of the cards and risk breaking.
